Certain traits and characteristics such as flakiness, being two-faced, unpredictability, neediness and vindictiveness are generally considered unlikable — and unfortunately embodied more by some zodiac signs than others.
All of the astrological signs have their positive side and their darker side. However, a 2021 poll found that many people agree that some Sun signs don't have the best reputation.
OnePoll asked 2,000 Americans to think about their past and present relationships and found that one-third of people agreed that one zodiac sign is the most undateable.
Gemini was voted the most undateable zodiac sign by 42% of poll takers.
Gemini is represented by the twins and ruled by Mercury, the messenger of the Gods.
The twins can represent two extremes, which is why it is hard to know what to expect as Gemini can be so changeable. It also lends to their reputation of being two-faced and many feel they can never rely on Gemini.
Gemini is a logical air sign, but being ruled by Mercury they are open to so much information that they frequently change their mind and at times can appear scattered.
Cancer and Taurus are also among the most hated zodiac signs.According to the poll, 37% and 36% of people consider Cancer and Taurus undateable, respectively.
Cancer is a sensitive water sign whose moods can change with the Moon (or the wind). This makes them come across as being emotionally unstable and at times needy.
They are also extremely sensitive and easily hurt which can send them into their shell — sometimes forever. Some people mistake their sensitivity for manipulation.
Taurus is an earth sign ruled by the planet Venus. Taurus is also in the fixed sign modality, which can come off as stubborn, rigid, and sometimes unbendable.
Taurus sees themself as stable and likes things to last and be consistent. Taurus can be considered overly materialistic by some, but Taurus is ruled by the planet of love which also rules beautiful things and possessions.

'Most Hated' Zodiac Signs Include One That's 'prickly, Manipulative And Unfaithful'
In Western astrology, the 12 star signs each exhibit unique traits, and it appears that half of them are more likely to be disliked by others.
The title of "most hated" zodiac sign has been bestowed upon Gemini, who are often seen as "prickly, manipulative, unfaithful and hard to be around".
Astrologer Susan Taylor from Astro Fame didn't mince words when she said: "Geminis have a reputation for being prickly, manipulative, and unfaithful."
She further explained: "Among the 12 signs of the zodiac, some have a particularly bad reputation, so much so that they seem to cumulate bad character traits."
Susan went on to reveal: "When it comes to being the least popular sign, the first prize is incontestably awarded to... Gemini."
Gemini's notoriety stems from their "turbulent personality", making them the black sheep of the astrological family, as per the astrologer's insights.
She elaborated: "This air sign personality is simply so unpredictable that folks regularly find themselves walking on eggshells around Gemini natives."
According to the astrologer, their unstable character and constant mood swings mean that Geminis are regularly hard to be around and make for "truly unreliable friends".
Susan suggested that it's better to steer clear of Gemini during tough times and instead turn to those born under Cancer.
That said, the astrologer claimed that Gemini isn't alone in the 'hated' category; Virgo also gets a fair share of dislike.
According to the astrologer, Virgo is known for their "icy personality" and "condescending behaviour", which is why others might struggle to be around them. People rarely turn to Virgo in times of trouble or success because they "come across as totally disapproving of just about everything".
Virgo does not mean to be malicious and it is simply a coping mechanism for this shy sign who cannot let people in. However, this makes being friends with them "nigh on impossible", she said.
LeoNext up is Leo, who drives other signs mad by "overdoing it" every time. Keen to be the centre of attention, "they are often seen as unbearable and overly competitive".
They are even branded "fake", meaning that most of the time others do not trust them fully. Many will keep Leo at arm's length.
AriesThe astrologer claimed that Aries' "fiery personality" can be blamed for scaring other signs away, as they are prone to an "explosive rage" when angry. People are afraid to get too close to Aries because they are "certainly unpredictable and could explode like a volcano at any given moment".
ScorpioScorpio is also a "hated" sign because of their "razor-sharp tongue" - when angry they can be pretty cutting with their words. Although they are praised for being "straight-talkers", Scorpio has the habit of taking things a little too far, sometimes lacking sensitivity.
LibraFinally, Libra has a "dark side" which can cause others to distrust them. However, they often manage to hide their true intentions behind a "smiley exterior". Astrologically speaking, Libra can be a "huge backstabber", capable of achieving "anything" they strive to achieve.
Zodiac Signs Most Likely To Cheat, Ranked
First things first: while the zodiac signs most likely to cheat may have traits that make them more prone to straying, that doesn't mean they're going to. Cheating is ultimately a choice, one that some people make regardless of their zodiac sign, so it's important not to judge anyone based on their zodiac sign alone.
That said, people cheat for a variety of reasons — unhappiness in the relationship, seeking out new experiences, having insecurity issues, wanting revenge or falling out of love. To prepare or the real possibility that this could happen in your own relationship, it's important to learn the common red flags that someone is likely to be a cheater ahead of time. And one of the telltale signs that someone is likely to cheat might be their zodiac sign.
The results of a study found Libra, Gemini and Capricorn to be the zodiac signs most likely to cheat in relationships, while Scorpio proved to be the most faithful.
Now, not everyone who belongs to these zodiac signs is going to cheat, nor are people born under different zodiac signs never going to cheat. However, there do seem to be some zodiac signs that are more prone to temptations, and taking a closer look at the stars can help us better understand why.
