Former WWE Star Arrested And Charged With Stabbing Man Multiple Times At A Gas Station

Former WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio, AKA Flash Funk, real name Charles Scaggs, was recently arrested and charged with stabbing a man during an altercation at a gas station.

Best known for his time with World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he won the WCW World Tag Team Championship with Buff Bagwell, and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Scaggs was arrested following a violent incident at around 3:40 a.M. At a Love's Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri last month.

2 Cold Scorpio claims he was acting in self-defense and, according to court documents obtained by TMZ, he said he was working as a security guard at the store at the time of the altercation.

Scorpio told police that the stabbing victim was lighting a cigarette inside the store, and when he asked the man to extinguish it he told Scorpio, "F— you, the f— you gonna do?"

The victim claimed he thought had already put out the cigarette before entering the store, but after the encounter with the former wrestling star the two men went outside to settle things.

Once outside, 2 Cold Scorpio, 58, says he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim in self-defense… multiple times.

"The victim had numerous cut and stab wounds and was transported to the hospital for treatment," stated Kansas City police.

The victim was reportedly bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen when police arrived on the scene and was in and out of consciousness on his way to the hospital.

As a result of the incident, Scorpio was charged with first-degree assault and one felony count of armed criminal action. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and is scheduled to appear in court next month.

During his professional wrestling career which spanned from 1985 to 2021, Charles Scaggs also won the ECW World Tag Team Championship, the ECW World Television Championship, the All Star Wrestling Alliance (ASWA) Heavyweight Championship, the Big Time Wrestling (BTW) Heavyweight Championship, and the Pro Wrestling Noah/Global Honored Crown (GHC) Tag Team Championship.

He was also ranked as high as 33rd on the top 500 singles wrestlers in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 in 1995.
